These luxurious new aircraft are EVA\u2019s A330-300s.\u00a0Each one is configured with 30 seats in Premium Laurel Class and 279 seats in Economy Class.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from Hello Kitty images on the plane\u2019s exterior, guests will find the famous feline all over the aircraft, from seats and headrests to in-flight meals and flight attendant attire. These special \u201cHello Kitty Around the World\u201d planes, launched to celebrate EVA Airways\u2019 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary, are new generation Hello Kitty aircraft\u2014with special upgrades including better entertainment systems and cabin seats\u2014and are also the last of the newly launched planes completing EVA\u2019s fleet.<\/p>\n<p>Having just joined the Taipei-Guam flight market in June 2011, EVA\u2019s decision to start the year by dedicating these special aircraft to the Taipei-Guam flight route signals the airline\u2019s further investment and expectations of the market, which has grown approximately 40% in the last fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward, EVA Airways has expressed the goal of bringing 30,000 passengers from Taipei to Guam by the end of the 2012 calendar year. With\u00a0Hello Kitty adding yet another unique element to Guam\u2019s multi-faceted tourism offerings, this goal may not seem so lofty after all.<\/p>\n<h3>About EVA Airways Hello Kitty Jets<\/h3>\n<p>Following the precedent established with EVA\u2019s two first-generation Hello Kitty Jets, the airline is applying the irrepressible character\u2019s theme to the design of more than 100 in-flight service items.\u00a0 At check-in, passengers on these aircraft are greeted by Hello Kitty boarding passes and baggage stickers.\u00a0 Onboard, they\u2019ll discover Hello Kitty headrest covers, tissue, paper cups, utensils, milk bottles, snacks, hand-washing liquid, hand lotion, meals and ice cream.
