A local convenience store in the vicinity makes an unplanned picnic possible and the restrooms on park property are a welcome stopover on a tour of the island. From this vantage point Cocos Island can be observed in full length from east to west. Guided tours to the resort on Cocos Island depart from the docks at Merizo. A visitor will find limited parking and reasonably heavy traffic at this location.
