IHOP (International House of Pancakes) is best known for their fluffy pancakes topped with flavored syrup of your choice. Breakfast is served all day, including waffles, french toast, crepes, eggs and bacon (to name a few), from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The menu also includes lunch and dinner items, as well as local and Filipino specialties.\u00a0With IHOP being in 50 states and across the world, the customers just keep comin\u2019 back for more. You may recognize this franchise from Manila. Filipino and local breakfast is also served all day. What else goes well with a cup o\u2019 joe? You guessed it\u00a0&#8212;\u00a0pastries and cake. Good luck trying to choose! Although they are Philippines-based, you can feel the Italian\/European concept, especially since the cafe\u00a0is named after \u201cFigaro\u201d in the opera, &#8220;The\u00a0Barber of Seville.&#8221; Stop by Monday thru Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. or on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Figaro is located in Tamuning off of Marine Corps Dr. next to Pizza Hut.<\/p>\n<p><em>PHOTO SOURCE: Facebook and figarocoffee.com<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Brown Bag Cafe (new location)<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19977\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.theguamguide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/June2015Photos_htm_m12fb72fe.jpg\" alt=\"Brown Bag Cafe Guam\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Looking to eat something on the healthier side but worried that it will taste bland? Brown Bag Cafe has you covered. With options from salads, sandwiches and spinach wraps to pizza, pasta, and brown rice dishes, you are sure to find something both delicious, and nutritious! The chicken adobo is a must order &#8212; savory brown rice with chicken and vegetables that melt in your mouth. If you don\u2019t eat\u00a0meat, not to worry! Most items can be made vegan. Need something to kick start your day? Try the \u201cWheatgrass Shake\u201d (hydroponically grown) or the \u201cIsland Harvest,\u201d a detox beverage filled with vegetables, coconut and spirulina. For a more refreshing kick, try the \u201cCucumber Freeze.\u201d \u00a0Visit Brown Bag Cafe\u00a0Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Brown Bag Cafe is at a new location, now in Agana at the Julale Center off of W. O\u2019Brien Dr.<\/p>\n<p><em>PHOTO SOURCE: Facebook<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Eat Street Grill<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19979\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.theguamguide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/June2015Photos_htm_m7f5e3239.jpg\" alt=\"Eat Street Grill Guam\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Eat Street Grill is located at <a href=\"http:\/\/theguamguide.com\/the-plaza-shopping-center\/\">The Plaza Shopping Center<\/a> in the heart of Tumon. Stop here for breakfast and choose from five different types of egg benedict, french toast, waffles, pancakes, island-style fried rice, or bacon-cured pork belly. Co-owner, Darren Talia says, \u201cTrust me. Everyone will fall in love with this bacon,\u201d and insists it&#8217;s \u201cthe highest quality bacon available in the country.\u201d After doing a little shopping at The Plaza, head over to Eat Street Grill and dine indoor or on the patio for lunch or dinner and try the handmade gourmet burgers or BBQ ribs. Also featured on the menu is smoked salmon rolls, coconut shrimp, handcrafted Northern Thai spicy sausage and a variety of rice bowls. Wash it all down with one of their craft beers, wine, or cocktails.<\/p>\n<p>Eat Street Grill is located at The Plaza in Tumon next to Beachin&#8217; Shrimp and Hot Diggety Dog.<\/p>\n<p><em>PHOTO SOURCE: theplazaguam.com<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Takoyaki Cafe Tama<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19980\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.theguamguide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Image01.png\" alt=\"Takoyaki Cafe Tama Guam\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Takoyaki Cafe Tama is one of the newest additions to Tumon. The cafe specializes in Japanese soul and street food, offering <em>takoyaki<\/em> (octopus balls), <em>okonomiyaki<\/em> (cabbage-filled pancake), and <em>yakisoba<\/em> (fried noodles). Also on the menu is a variety of appetizers, salads, and even steak.
